Health and Social Care Worker of the Week
At Jayco we are lucky to have such highly skilled and dedicated workers in all our sectors. This year we are bringing back worker of the week to reward them for all their hard work, the winner will receive a £50 gift voucher. As always, this award was extremely hard to give and it could have gone to a number of our workers. However, only one person can win, and we are pleased to announce that Richard Mbonipa is this week’s winner.
Richard is one of our Support Workers who works around the Newcastle area. We recently received glowing feedback regarding Richard's work ethic and professional behaviour. He is currently working with service users who don't speak English as their first language, as Richard speaks a number of languages, he was able to act as a translator which was vitally important in making the service user feel comfortable.
What does a Support Worker do?

They provide individual care as required by each person you care for in order to meet and fulfil their personal needs whilst ensuring that each person’s dignity and individuality is upheld and their independence, choice and control is always promoted. They are responsible for supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.
