Job Description

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new role? Join our clients team as a Sessional Support Worker.

The role of a Sessional Support Worker is to provide support and assistance to young adults. This role also requires individuals to work with other agencies outside of the hostel in supporting the services users e.g. Police, Social Services.

Locations:

  • Gateshead
  • Newcastle-upon-Tyne
  • South Shields
  • Hebburn

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that occupants comply with the rules and regulations.
  • Conduct medications in accordance with professional guidelines.
  • Reporting any breakages / repairs needed to the appropriate teams within the business e.g. maintenance, management.
  • Ensuring that administration and financial reports are completed to a good standard.
  • Ensuring that health and safety procedures are explained and adhered to.
  • Liaise with Housing Officers where appropriate.
  • Promote a sense of equality and diversity throughout the business.

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of six months of experience within the UK.
  • NAPPI Trained
  • Hold valid UK Work Authorization.
  • Have contact details for referees from your current or previous workplace.
