As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of care to our residents. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of healthcare assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to providing person-centred care.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering excellent standards of person centred care of residents
• Effective team leadership
• Following care plans in accordance
• Provide vital assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering care.
• Diligently monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications following professional guidelines and protocols.
• Support patient mobility and ensure safe transfers when required.
• Uphold a clean, hygienic, and secure patient environment.
• Aid in meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed.
• Offer emotional support to service users and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

Requirements

• Previous Experience in Senior health care assistant role or similar.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.
• Satisfactory DBS.
• Hold valid UK Work Authorisation with no restrictions.
