Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Planner to join our clients team. The Project Planner will be responsible for coordinating and planning various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the customer’s tender information.
· Develop the tender programme into a fully integrated design, procurement and project programme in co-ordination with the companies management team.
· Develop and maintain multiple plans in MS Project. Relay these plans on to the companies Engineering Programme.
· Communicate planned and actual performance to the Project Managers and relevant customers
· Identify the critical path and over-allocated times. Identify process improvements on time and cost etc.
· Assess the effects of client changes to the contract programme and advise of any delay notices.
· Raise early warnings and time impacts on the project. Convert these to cost impacts.
· Create reports.
Experience/Qualifications:
· Working knowledge and experience in a fabrication / engineering background
· At least 1 year proven multi-project management experience with Prince2 an advantage.
· Problem solving and 'can do' attitude with the ability to work positively in a small team.
· Advanced oral and written communication.
· The ability to use MS Office products - this is essential and any applicant without proven MS Project experience will not be considered.
· Must have a full UK driving licence.
Working Hours:
Day shift 37 hours per week, 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday.
Salary:
Dependent on experience and works requirement of the applicant.
