Plumber

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced domestic plumber to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems primarily Kitchens and bathrooms in residential properties. They must have a thorough understanding of plumbing systems and fixtures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Durham
• South Tyneside
• Wearside

Responsibilities:

· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances (kitchens and bathrooms) in residential properties.

· Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or damaged pipes.

· Diagnose plumbing problems and propose solutions to address them effectively.

· Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete larger projects on time and within budget.

· Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

· Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and address their concerns in a professional manner.

· Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a domestic plumber.

· Valid plumber's license or certification.

· Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

· Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Employment options contract or permanent:

Rate or salary is negotiable dependant on qualification experience.

· Long term contract (up to 2 years) self-employed.

· Long term contract (up to 2 years) PAYE
