Job Description

We are are recruiting for one of our exclusive clients for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager for one of their residential homes.

We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to fill the role of Deputy Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Care Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and the delivery of exceptional care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Care Home Manager: Assist the Care Home Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and delivering the highest standard of care.
  • Quality of Care: Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Resident Well-being: Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, residents, and their families. Address concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere within the care home.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the care home's budget effectively, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior care role.
  • Relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Level 5 leadership or Management or NMC pin
